Meet Victoria Grant

Victoria Grant is a passionate advocate, community member, and candidate for the Lake Forest Park City Council. Raised in a multicultural household, Victoria brings a deep appreciation for inclusivity, empathy, and the strength that comes from diverse perspectives.

A proud resident of Lake Forest Park, Victoria is committed to helping this close-knit community flourish—by strengthening local connections, supporting sustainable growth, and ensuring all voices are heard. Her dedication to public service is rooted in real-life experience, including her work with Prevent Child Abuse Athens, where she supported survivors of domestic violence and child abuse.

Victoria’s priorities include preserving Lake Forest Park’s natural beauty, promoting thoughtful economic development, improving housing affordability, investing in infrastructure, and creating more opportunities for civic engagement.

She believes that the future of Lake Forest Park depends on thoughtful, inclusive leadership that reflects the values of its residents. With a collaborative spirit and a clear vision, Victoria is ready to help guide the city forward—together.

Why I’m Running?

I’m running for City Council because I believe local government has the power to shape a brighter, more connected future for everyone in Lake Forest Park. As our community continues to grow and change, we face critical decisions that require thoughtful, inclusive leadership—leadership that listens, engages, and brings people together. I want to help ensure that every resident feels a sense of belonging and that our policies reflect the values we share: sustainability, equity, and care for one another. My goal is to support a city that honors its roots while preparing for a future that serves all of us.

My Commitment to Advocacy:

Advocacy has always been at the heart of my work, especially when it comes to supporting women, children, and marginalized communities. Growing up in a mixed-race, multicultural household, I witnessed firsthand the effects of racism and the barriers that many people of color face. Those experiences shaped my deep commitment to justice, equity, and inclusion. Through my work with Prevent Child Abuse Athens, I learned the power of listening, showing up for those in crisis, and fighting for systems that protect and uplift. I carry that same dedication into my campaign—working to ensure every resident has access to the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. I believe a strong community is one where no one is left behind, and I’m committed to building that kind of city here in Lake Forest Park.
